Photo Diary: Goodbye Amsterdam.

On our way back to the hostel after our fair share of Queen’s Day celebrations, we walked past a park and decided to take a leisurely stroll through some greenery after a day of orange. It was so peaceful and tranquil, as if it were a separate bubble, contained world, away from the chaos of the city centre. You could hear the sound of trickling water from the fountain over the throbbing music in the far distant. Would definitely be lovely to have a nice picnic right there on that grass, and feed some roaming ducks. I believe the Dutch countryside would be even more beautiful than this, and am looking forward to visiting it in the near future. But for now, goodbye Holland, goodbye Amsterdam.
